April 23 was the day: our annual team building! We met at the parking lot of the Sorghvliedt swimming pool in Hoboken. Some were already sweating with fear at the thought that a session of synchronized diving would follow. 🤿What exactly the team building was going to be would only be revealed later that day, but first we proceeded to the order of the day: a look back at our achievements - a round of applause for ourselves 👏 - and a look at our future, brought to us by An, our founder & CEO.
Once we were all up to date again after this inspiring talk - and with many jokes in between - it was time to stretch our legs. With the sun shining brightly, everyone felt like going outside. Up to the fun part! 🥳
Outside in Outfort
An activity outside in nature will make any Enprover happy. On the program was a group game in Outfort. We started with a short flashback to 1870 about the history of the fort, but by now everyone was eagerly looking around for strategic hiding places or lookouts. 🥷
The energy level rose by the minute and you could feel that everyone was looking forward to it: from Team Blue against Team Red or a joint group effort. People were fighting for honor and pulling out all the stops to beat our record after all! We were allowed to bring our own imaginary trophy for one of the most complex puzzles. One for the mantelpiece in the office. 🏆
Time to savor
After 3 hours of breaking our heads about how to roll tennis balls more efficiently, or strategies to spot 50 license plates, it was time to fill our bellies. With a delicious (d)jar full of goodies and a drink, there was plenty of afterglow. The many laughs afterwards testified that we continued to bond as a team during our team building. Mission accomplished! 🙌
